Angie, Jael and Emalea came to visit

Last tuesday it was finally cool enough for Maggie to be able to wear this outfit. Well at least it was not over 100!!!
Happy girl!

Hanging out in the Bumbo

She loves her feet. They are often the best toy she could have. I just love this picture!

Love those feet!

Again enjoying her exersaucer. She works/thinks so hard while she is in this toy.

We went to Dions with Sandy, Angie, Jael and Emalea. Maggie watches us when we eat or drink anything so Daddy decided to see what she would do with a straw. Not much this time, but she will learn someday. BTW it's just water in the cup. She doesn't get soda until she is 2 years old, and maybe not even then. We'll see. Mommy is back to no sodas again :)

She was watching every bite Daddy took of that piece of pizza and reaching for it. So cute!

She finally got to hold it, but doesn't have the teeth to do anything aout it.

They have really missed Aunt Sandy. What a fun time we had.

Jael and Emalea are so used to me taking pictures that they will pose for me, but sometimes they have to get silly and we take picture after picture after picture of silly faces. Here are a couple...
Jael making a silly face.

Emalea being silly.
For some reason I never get pictures of Angie... where does she go when I'm taking pictures.

We went to Target for some shopping. Emalea is modeling her accessories.

Emalea and Jael both pushed Maggie around the store in a "display only" stroler. It kept Maggie happy and the girls busy. What great babysitters. While Emalea was pusing her, Maggie actually fell asleep.

Jael modeling too. Yes that is a toy snake around her neck.

Wednesday we went to the Science Spectrum with a play group. The girls love the Science Spectrum and had fun this day.
Here Jael is doing a puppet show for Maggie.

Emalea going for a ride.

Jael holding Maggie. It's one of the first things that comes out of their mouths when I first walk into the room. "Can I hold Maggie?"

I think they were both a little tired.

Emalea loving on Maggie

She is so her "Daddy's Little Girl"

Friday night we went to Emma Cluff's baptism and when it was done we stayed to talk with friends.

Here Addison got to hold Maggie while her grandma watched. So cute!

This is Addison's sister Brinley. She was making sure to hang on tight. Maggie was a good sport.

Saturday we went to a wedding reception for Nathan and Joanna Davis out at the Vardeman's house. It was nice to see everyone. Here is the dress she wore for that night.

Her smile just makes my day!!!!

I just happened to take the picture at the same time she decided to practice getting her "guns up". She is getting there. Soon she will be signing all kinds of things.

Monday Emalea called and asked what I was doing. I told her that I was getting dressed and asked if she wanted me to come over. She said "Well if you want to" I said I did and then she asked if I was going to bring Maggie with me. I said I was going to and asked if she really wanted me to come over. She said "YES I do!" I love the fact that she loves Maggie so much.

Cousins

Paula, Sandy, Angie, Andrea and I did a foot shot one time bec. we all did our toenails. Now the girls will often ask to take pictures of their feet.

I love these girls and already miss Jael and Emalea so much. We sure wish the rest of the cousins could be here.

Maggie holding onto Emalea's thumb

At one time all 3 of the girls were intent on watching tv. I thought it was cute. Here they are...

Jael likes to take pictures so I let her take my camera and take as many pictures as she wants. Here are some that she took. She did take one of Angie, but I wasn't sure she would be happy with me if I posted it. We both just showered today and didn't do anything with our hair. At least in this one Maggie is covering me up some.

Mostly Maggie and Eleanor

My cute girl. I catch myself sucking on my bottom lip often and then realized where she got it from.
She still loves her exersaucer.

Maggie and Eleanor playing

Eleanor was laughing and Maggie was checking her out.

Maggie was really tired and didn't want to be put in the swing bec. she knew she would loose that fight

We went to eat lunch with Sandy on the Courthouse lawn for the concert at noon. So fun!

Playing with Daddy at the Courthouse

Maggie in her hat so she doen't get too much sun.

Eleanor talking with Aunt Sandy

Cute girl enjoying hanging out with family

She was so tired, but did well sitting in the bumbo for the first time.

They were both watching Andrea

My happy girl
Maggie playing with Sephie. She gets so excited.

Sephie just put her arm around Maggie. She wasn't suffocating her.
This was the last Sunday Maggie and Eleanor will be together for a while since Andrea, Greg and Eleanor moved this morning. So we dressed the girls in the matching dresses Aunt Paula/Grandma got for them. They had to endure tons of pictures from their mommies and Aunt Sandy. Here are some of the ones I took...

They held hands a few times. I was happy to get it this time.

Eleanor is wearing her onesie that says "I <3 Daddy". So we had to take one with Daddy holding her.

July 4th and other stuff

This is a quilt my cousin Joyce (Jodie) made for Maggie. So very cute! Jael & Emalea came into town. I only got a pic of Jael with Mike and Maggie.

We were going up to Mike's office for a fairwell party so she had to wear the geekling outfit Daddy got for her.

The O'Brien family came to visit. Everyone was watching Maggie do tummy time.
The 4th was a long day for everyone. Paula and Sandy had been out all day. Paula went home and that night Sandy came over to be with us. She had been so hot all day and didn't really feel up to going out to see the fireworks. That was just fine with Mike since he wasn't feeling so well either. We also think that Maggie has started teething. She has been drooling more and chewing on everything and been a little more grumpy than her normal happy self. So we just stayed home. When I started hearing fireworks close to our house I went to check them out. They were close enough that I decided to take Maggie out to see how she did with them and Sandy came with us. One street over there were two groups of people who bought some really nice fireworks! Maggie liked them and didn't get scared of the noise they made.
Here is Maggie in her 4th of July outfit. Dang mosquitos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the down side to being outside watching the fireworks. Fortunately we covered up Maggie and she didn't get bit.
Maggie got a new Sunday dress from Sandy. This Sunday was Raylene, Jim and Jackson's first Sunday in 1st ward. Jackson was wearing a cute little suit with an orange shirt. So they matched. It was so cute. Raylene was holding Maggie when the Bishop was reading in their records so when he read off their names he said something about the new infant in her arms. Then he figured out she belonged to me so he said she was just babysitting for Sister Brown. hee hee
She has been sleeping a lot. We're not sure if it's because she is growing so much or if it's bec. she is teeting or it could be a combination... But she is still our little happy camper!
