Catching up

We made another trip to Carlsbad this last weekend. Marieta was back in town for her and Rob's first anniversary and court the next Thursday. We got the good news that Rob will be able to move to PA with James!!!!! We are so excited that they can now be together.

This time I remembered to get a pic with Maggie and Aunt Marieta.
and with Uncle Rob

and both of them.

I went to check on her and just had to take a pic of my beautiful little girl

Maggie got to meet her friend Reagan(who is one month younger than Maggie but they were due only 3 days apart) and her mommy Erin and daddy Ryan. At first they wouldn't look at eachother...

Then they decided it wasn't so bad

Here is Eleanor on the day they moved into their new apartment. So cute!

Maggie hanging out with Aunt Paula

Laughing for Aunt Paula

She wasn't so sure about Eleanor's new swing.

Playing with Aunt Sandy at Dion's

I'm not sure what Jael was doing, but Maggie sure liked it!

Emalea, Maggie and Jael showing one of their favorite places to eat. Boy we are going to miss them!

This last one I decided not to include a pic, but it's a cute story. Emalea needed a bath so we decided to have Maggie take her first bath in a tub instead of her baby bath. I may start doing this more often. She LOVES to splash. Her Daddy used to always tell me when I was pregnant with her that he was going to teach her how to say "It's just water it'll dry." I guess she heard him the whole time.
She enjoyed her bath and Emalea was excited for her first time taking a bath with a baby. She said it was "Maggie's first time taking a bath with a grown up."

Here is Eleanor

4 of my beautiful nieces!

Maggie smiling at Aunt Sandy

Angie and I decided to pick up the girls and take them to the park for Maggie's 3 month pictures.
Here they are pushing her in her first park swing. She actually liked it but wasn't too happy about the sun getting in her eyes when Aunt Angie or Mommy couldn't block it.

Here they are comparing hand sizes

Emalea talking with Maggie

Emalea holding Maggie (she asked first)

Laughing at silly mommy

Jael holding Maggie

Her model look

This was a blind shot. I just decided to see what I could get from that angle... it turned out well. :)

We have been wanting a bumbo for a while. Maggie has been holding up her head really well and we started looking for one. We finally got one tonight. She is so very cute and seems to really like it. Here she is...

Maggie, Eleanor is here & Mother's day!

So I normally write my blogs in order of when they happened but for some reason I can't click and drag my pictures today to put them in the right order, so I'll go backwords.
Mother's day was great! Church was amazing and uplifting. Here is part of my gift for my first Mother's day. Beautiful roses! Daddy and Aunt Sandy helped Maggie put her hand print on the card she gave me too. It's so cute!!!
Andrea and I with our beautiful daughters for our first Mother's day with our own children. (I always used other people's kids like Paula's and Angie's before)

Andrea and Eleanor (2 days old)

Me and Maggie (now 11 weeks old)

We think Eleanor's hands are already a little bigger than Maggie's

Maggie with her passie
Eleanor holding in her own passie. Such a good girl. They normally have to hold it for her. Andrea said that Eleanor is saying "Don't worry mom, I got it!"

It looks like Maggie's feet are a little bit bigger for now.

The two little ones together
The Jael and Eleanor (the two tan ones)
Emalea and Maggie (the two white ones)

When they first got together they were both sleeping. Even with all the noise around them. What good babies we have.

Eleanor Marie Morris was born May 8, 2009 at 10:04 am she was 8lbs 11oz and 21 inches with lots of dark hair and as beautiful as can be!
We started puting flowers on Maggie's head. I found these iron on flowers and thought they would work well. She looks cute with them. In this picture she actually looks a little more like I did when I was little.
The last 2 weeks Maggie has been reacting more to things around her. I love talking to her and having her smile so big. We also have a set of books that have numbers, letters, colors and shapes. I have read them to her several times, but 2 weeks ago I put her in her bouncer and sat on the floor infront of her and read and signed them to her. She would watch the sign and look at the picture through all 4 books!!! Then last week Paula, Andrea and I were watching Baby Einstein with her and she was so cute with how she reacted with it. She would coo and giggle! I'm such a proud mommy!!! I want to keep her where she is, but I get so excited seeing her progress. I'll just be happy to have her in my life.
